125 mpg Plug In Toyota Prius!

The bar has been raised yet again. Lithium Technology Corporation out of Pennsyvania has released a new line of lithium batteries
that are “…the answer the automotive industry has been searching for.” according to their website.

I’m always amazed how third party companies can always make things better. If toyota really did care about the environment they would make a prius that did get 125 miles per gallon. but they don’t.

While I agree with you on one level, I have to point out that it’s all about priorities. I’m sure that Toyota’s top priority is the bottom line, however, if they start to sell more cars because of eco-friendliness and better mpg then they might change their tune. To be fair, this is new battery technology that I don’t think existed when the Prius was designed, and really, Toyota is doing a whole lot better than most car companies.
